Alternative lyrics to kingdom songs
by Matty inhave you ever sung alternative lyrics to kingdom songs during a meeting or a convention?
to qualify they have to sound very similar to the actual words so you can get away with it without too much attention being drawn to yourself.

Looking over shoulder...............

for me- my entire family is still in- and i get cargroups at my house 2 out of 4 saturday mornings.
i am always looking over my shoulder when they knock- like- is there any lottery tickets laying around?

Hey Seeker...Tink and I did the over the shoulder thing for the first few months....then....gradually we relaxed....We moved away from our families area though and we had only two visits....(I think my father had them come by to see if there was any "hope")...Tink handled both times...I was at work...first time was two sisters ,,,kinda young...she talked awhile...Our Christmas tree beaming in back of her....but they came back with the "Matronly older sister"....you know the ones that GLOW with the knowledge of Jehovah...LOLOL....She laid into all three of them....real good..and on their way down the walk...Tink said...."Oh...by the way...you know those little house-to-house record sheets you guys have...make sure you put in big capital letters DO NOT CALL"...That was that...never heard from them again...
Things will eventually come to a head Seeker....your boldness will build up and you'll just get sick and tired of the cloak and dagger shit...Your doing fine....Hang in there......CC

by CC Ryder inback in the early 90's i went thru a divorce due to adultery on the part of my wife...she got involved with a ms from a neighboring cong....who...he and his wife were our best friends...i lasted a year up north where it took place and left for the south....our case was one of 9 cases in that one year period....not to mention the birth of a child to the wt conductors daughter...out of wedlock....he remained the wt cond.
by the way....is this a special experience i had or have some of you ran accross such a "rash" of similar experiences??
?....call me old fashioned....but...i believe in commitment to your mate...if it ends...let me know it's over before the nasty deed is done...my ex wanted out of our marraige....and because of the rule in the borg...she devised a way to do it and give me the freedom to remarry...some of the other 9 cases involved an elder and a pioneer wife of a ms..my ex and the ms's ex were both pioneers....and the others were ms's and sisters with a lot of years in the borg...i am now blessed with a great wife and companion (tinkerbell4125 as you all know her)!!!!.

Even down here in the reflection of the "golden buckle of the bible belt" ...(to quote Don Imus)..the same disregard for marriage is very prevelent among the shining JW clan...they need to use their Family Book for firewood I guess...I've seen more respect for marriage among the Baptist, Methodist, Church of Christ....ect....

GoldenGirl....not only what Hall you go to...it's also what area of the country your in...The South in general is down on drinking period...but that seems to be changing..the Bible belt is "unbuckling"...so to speak...The experience I related was in the southern USA....I'm originally from the north and it is much more tollerant up there....especially when All those in charge are all heavy, heavy drinkers and some are down right drunks...but they run in clicks and hide the facts....Don't get me wrong...I like to drink, mostly beer and enjoy it...but when you go after people with a problem and DF them so that they are cut off from their families and on the same turn...go out and engage in the same behavior...something is wrong with that picture!!!!.....Before I left the Borg....I ran into alot of heavy drinkers here in the South....some were even brought to the attention of the Elders...all those I knew of were brothers...all didn't even get reproof except for one who was involved in a serious car wreck...but the one sister I knew of was DF'ed twice...the second time was after her daughter was swept away by a so called brother....They just keep making up ways to protect the selective few in their ranks...it is selective...it is hypocritical, it is disgusting....but its happening in abundance.....sorry for being so long winded...but I hate hypocrites!!!!!.........CC
